process: shapes can be cold-rolled if thecross-section is relatively uniform and the transverse dimension is relativelysmall. Cold rolling shapes requires a series of shaping operations, usuallyalong the lines of sizing, breakdown, roughing, semi-roughing, semi-finishing,and finishing.
